The indie fighting game Skullgirls has finally been released for the master race to delve into. Meaning it has been released for the Personal Computer platform. Yay! It is available for purchase on Steam, for a measly 13,99€. If you can't afford that then GTFO! Or don't. I dare you! And since I could not find a decent SG themed arcade cabinet, I decided to ditch my old Street Fighter vinyls I had planned for the cabinet, and instead go with brand new Skullgirls power! There are some renders below, if you had not noticed yet. Go on, take a peek!

I could have done a lot worse, I think. It's amazing what you can create with GIMP and SolidWorks... The vinyl at the bottom of Pic 2 is already obsolete, since I decided to replace it with a little less vulgar display of womanhood in the form of Ms. Fortune's ball of yarn. A little less bouncy, but a lot friendlier to any female observers, if you catch my drift...
The simplistic black and white vinyls work OK on the sides. It looks in certain angle and in a certain lighting that the girls are supporting the cabinet. Not that it needs any support from a pair of women made of vinyl. It's sturdy enough as it is, I think (=hope)... In case you were wondering, the character on the right side of the cabinet is Parasoul, and on the left is Valentine. The pair can also be spotted in Pic 3 towards the top where they are posing in the "Showtime" banner, which is supposed to be lit from behind by a few LEDs. We'll see how that turns out IRL...
And now news flashes from around the house: The last of the missing parts: The Control Panel Plate, has finally arrived. The lonely crusader was greeted by one hundred weeping virgins (nerd boys) and the President of the great cabinet builders of Finland. The journey-worn individual was immediately showered with window cleaning spray and coated with a fresh layer of matte black tanning spray. Below you will undoubtedly find the "before" and "after" pics. So there!

The next step in this glorious process of building the ultimate arcade cabinet is to finalize the vinyls and send them to the "vinyl making person" or whoever he is that makes the vinyls... We are nearing the end times, folks! Stay tuned for more pics and random jabber!
I've put so many Street Fighter videos to the end of my Finnish blog posts, that I can't stop now. And since I ditched the Street Fighter theme, and Chun-Li is not the queen of the vinyls, she appears royally pissed. See?
Please don't kill me Chun-Li! I don't think your thighs are thick! They are just very muscularrrrrr...
And please! Leave a comment if you feel at all like commenting something! Thanks a bunch!
